My boss rox
Monday, May 30, 2005 @ 5/30/2005 09:26:00 PM

Watched Hostage last night. This was one damn good movie. Bruce Willes plays Jeff Talley a failed negotiator who becomes a ordinary cop after he fails saving some people from a negotiation. When on one day he has to save the lives of another family held hostage which is complicater and more dangerous then it looks. Great movie, the cast is super, and the camera angles are amazing. It's been a while since i've seen Bruce play this good. Not even in Sin City he was as good as in this movie. So 5 *****

Also I received this from my boss today. Ain't it cool. And as you can see its not a weak collapsable plastic tripod, but some goood shit. Let's make some good movies ^^.

bbq
Sunday, May 29, 2005 @ 5/29/2005 12:05:00 PM

We planned a nice bbq this weekend because of the good weather. Twoz great. Delicious food, lots of beer, great music and lots of laughter. The first problem with BBQ is always lighting the damn thing. Next to the BBQ there was a stove that worked alot better. But it smoked tooo much. Anyways after the bbq was lit, we put all the food we had on the bbq. Nah seriously there was more.

The later it became the colder it got. Mostly becus of wind. So we decided to all sit around another big stove. And as you know, stoves need to be refilled and refilled and refilled. In the end there was nothing left except a large log of wood. So we decided to saw it in small pieces. But even one tho we where sawing one, after another. And even with my help, we had no luck sawwing it, so Frank decided to put the whole log in. Burned better then we expected. So we had to duck for cover sometimes as sparks just blew out.

Lost (WARNING POILERS)
Thursday, May 26, 2005 @ 5/26/2005 09:20:00 PM

Lost, my favourite tv-show at the moment came to an end today. Last episode well actually 2 episodes where broadcasted as one huge episode.

spoiler!!!Im soooooooo dissapointed. Not cus the ending was BAD, au contraire, the series are awesome. But why was it dissapointing? Well I tell you. Theres a season 2 coming. So thers no explanation about what the island is or what the HELL is going on the island or whats in the damn hatch. Oh wait, we do get a small preview of whats to come with the hatch, so thats at least one thing that gets explained 'A BIT'. But damn, I hate this cliffhanger. Theres soooo much I still wanna know, so they better have a damn good season following it up, otherwise this will be a HUGE dissapointment for a television show.

Tuesday, May 24, 2005 @ 5/24/2005 12:00:00 PM

Last few weeks i've been working hard @ my internship and even @ home. I just love my work, and love the assignments. Will show you some of the shit we've been working on in a couple o days or weeks. Anyways we probably will be moving into a REAL officein Zaandam next week or the week after that. Finally I will have a my own 4 square feet of office space hehe. Nah but seriously great news, now we can show the clients that we do some GOOD business ^^.

New office means also new office-supplies, thus new computers. My boss will get a mac G5! fuck that, gimme gimme gimme. Still I don't care what kind of system I get aslong as I can download and watch some nice movies ^^.

Monday, May 23, 2005 @ 5/23/2005 12:34:00 PM

Weatherforecast says its gonna be a sunny week, with temperatures around 30 degrees (no idea how much that is in fahrenheit) on friday. Helllllss yeah, now that's what i'm talking about. Time to put the winter-clothes in the garbagebin, get out the sunlotion and put the beer in the fridge cus this man is going to be burned tanned ^^.

No! Nein! Nee! Non!
Saturday, May 21, 2005 @ 5/21/2005 04:06:00 PM

Once again Holland is upside down. With the upcomming election for the EU-law, the government is trying to do anything to get the people to vote YES. The thing is, after alot of official polls and other enquetes, most of the Dutch people are still against it. Thus making the government, even more ferocious, so they decided to put some people on the streets, convincing us to vote for a YES! Bah I hate those pencilpushing fagz forcing us to change our vote and not let us decide for out own. I love the free pen's and badges tho ^^.

The notebook
Monday, May 16, 2005 @ 5/16/2005 09:20:00 PM

Well what to say what to say. I've been extremely lazy this weekend. Only went to my friends house for dinner and a movie. Was funny tho, watching a romantic movie with 4 girls. Heck that was quite a laugh. Off course I was the only person who rooted for the bad guy in the movie lol.

We watched The notebook together. Man that movie could've been better, if they didn't cut some of the essential scenes from the main flick and add it as extra/deleted scenes. The rest was ok tho. Some nice shots and the story was ok and not too cliche. Story is about a young poor lad that falls in love with a rich girl. They get sepperated cus he has to go to war, she finds someone else. Then he comes back...blablabla...yadayada.

2 Other movies I watched where worse then I expected. And even worse then 'The notebook'. I already had my doubts about Kingdom of heaven. Too bad I was right. It's impossible to top off 2 masterpieces like Gladiator and Blackhawk Down. You can try, but you might end up with a shit movie like 'Kingdom of heaven'. The shooting was pooooor, the editing was pooorer and the music???? No disrespect to Harry Gregson Williams, but we kinda needed Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard for this type of movie.

And last movie I watched was Sahara. All in all quite ok to watch. The story just didn't make sense, and it had a few gaps here and there. Still if ya want to see a decent movie about treasurehunting, then watch 'National Treasure' instead. As a matter of fact, skip that and just buy the Indiana Jones and Goonies dvd's.

Traps
Friday, May 13, 2005 @ 5/13/2005 11:59:00 AM

Bank employees are dangerous people. Especially those from ABN here in Netherland. They tend to sell any type of acount available each time you call or enter the bank. Same as yesterday. The thing was, before I even knew something was going on, I was already standing outside the bank, with a case filled with info of a new account under my arm. WTF that went fast. What the hell did I get talked into this time?

Grumpy
Wednesday, May 11, 2005 @ 5/11/2005 01:21:00 PM

Blegh I'm fucking grumpy today. Aside from the fact that I'm very very very very tired, everything just annoys me today. First I had some problems finishing an assignment for a client cus 2 pc's didn't work properly, and now when I can finally work on something, some roadworkers decided to just drop in and make alot of fucking noise. And it's making me madder the more I think about it. It's unbelievable that there is no PEACE or fucking quietness somewhere in this godforsaken city. At my home, its the constructionworkers that make too much noise and now here the roadworkers. Gawwd

Sollicitate
Monday, May 09, 2005 @ 5/09/2005 06:41:00 PM

Last saturday marks another victory day for me. No I didn't score with some chick....unfortunately...but scored big time at my exam, so I have 90% confidence that I passed. Make that 99%. Go me!

In the meantime, I have been wondering if I should sollicitate for a job a Italian restaurant or not, and today I decided to just go for it. So with my crappy Italian I tried to make clear that I was there for a job. Thank god they understood me a bit, cus I was quite sure I said some weird shit in Italian. But they wanted to see me work for a few days first to see if i'm qualified for the job, so I start next thursday. Quite glad with it, altho I'm still stressing if this is the right choice for me. Ah well we'll see.

A day off
Friday, May 06, 2005 @ 5/06/2005 06:50:00 PM

Sorry bout my last post, I was just a tad dissapointed that my hometeam lost due to a goal in the last minute, which was even in overtime. Besides that I'm already over it and soccer means fuck all to me.

Decided to take it easy today, as I need all my strength for my exam tommorrow. For which I don't even plan to go. I'm really stubborn when it comes to things I don't like. What I did like was watching some movies today. First of all: "Toolbox Murders" which I've actually seen yesterday afternoon, was totally horrible and more funny then scary really. The only thing that made me jump out of my seat was some of the scare-moments in the movie, because we put the volume of our speakers extra high, to feel at least some tension. When you see this movie, don't rent it and don't pick it up. As a matter of fact don't touch it and don't even dare looking at it.

The second movie was: "Mr 3000" which was okay. I think I've expected more from this movie, but Bernie Mac, just wasn't all that funny. Also he played this arrogant baseball player which got fucking annoying in the end!

The third movie was: Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" with Jim Carrey. As usual Jim Carrey shows some seriously good and funny actin as the evil 'Count Olaf'. Also the setting and locations are really cool and tend to give the movie more of a magical touch.

The fourth and last movie I watched was: "National Treasure" which turned out better then I expected. Nicolas Cage is a treasure hunter looking for a mythical treasure, when during the search for this treasure, his employer 'Sean Bean' turns against him. Alot if not all things in this movie where so unbelievable and obviously fake, that it seemed more of a movie for the younger fans. Still it was a nice movie to watch, wouldn't recommend it for the theaters tho. Instead save that money for the movie Starwars - Revenge of the sith" which is due VERY soon.

Small
@ 5/05/2005 09:36:00 AM

Just received a newsflash newsletter thingy from my cleaning-company. This month they used a item about the cleaningcourse, including pictures O_o. Thank god the pictures are very small. Look at small me. In addition, my exam for the cleaning course is upcomming saturday 8 am sigh. But I don't care if I oversleep, and tbh I don't give a fuck If I pass or not.

Scrubs end!
@ 5/05/2005 01:27:00 AM

Gah I just finished watch the last episode of Scrub's season 2. What a great show. After watching 4 seasons of scrubs, in the unusual order of 3, 1, 4, 2. I have never ever liked a show as much as this one, especially for its cast. Not only the main cast was great, but ALOT of bigger actors and actresses appeared on the show that put down some weird and funny characters. Micheal J Fox, Collin Farrel, Tara Reid, Ryan Reynolds, Heather Graham, Brendan Fraser, Heather Locklear and off course Tom Cavanaugh as J.D's brother.

I know I said it before ...but goddamn that Dr. Perry Cox cracks me up everytime het gets angry with Nooby, Bambi, Rachel, Yvonne, Diana, Zoe, Shelly, Michelle, Linda, Britney, Paris, Carla, Judy..etc etc. Anywho....DAMN SHAME I have no more eisodes left to watch. I can't wait to see more of this show next season, if there is ever gonna be a season 5.

Bye bye mini poddie!!
Tuesday, May 03, 2005 @ 5/03/2005 06:19:00 PM

Something is fucked up with my mini-poddie. Have no idea what, so I went back to the shop where I bought the lil fecker. The shop told me all the Apple products need to be verified with an official Apple dealer. So instead of helping me out, they gave me a lil note with instructions so I would bugger off. THe note said to go to the apple website and just follow the instructions for service of a malfunctioning product.

Filled out the form and not two days later I received a package from Apple. The package was meant for returning the poddie to the factory. Damnit, now I have to go another few weeks without a mp3-player. Before I bought it I also had to wait 4 months for it..sigh. Tho Apple knows how to treat their costumers, cus the package comes fully sealed and will be returned by UPS express. Some quality customer-service I tells ya.

Censorship
Sunday, May 01, 2005 @ 5/01/2005 10:34:00 PM

I really dislike BBC for censoring parts of the movie Indiana Jones. It's just like America. They show everthing from the war in Iraq. Soldiers that are being burnt and hung, soldiers being shot and blown up and all other sort of shocking material, but when f.e. a nipple pops out of someones blouse it has to be all censored. On the other hand, Janet Jackson's nipple was quite shocking indeed.
