10 annies for the Incredibles.
Monday, January 31, 2005 @ 1/31/2005 07:08:00 PM

Deserved bigtime!!! Actually they didn't have much oppossision, only Sharktale and Shrek 2. And I really don't understand, why everyone liked Shrek so much, am I the only one who thinks it was so-so. Everyone who's seen it was coming to me like, "paapii you need to see it its soooooo great". tssss. Oh I finally found out who the singer was from Deep Dish's Flashdance track. Her name is Anousheh Khalili. Flashdance is a dope ass track by Deep Dish, and the vocals performed by her are superb imo. So I checked out her site and she seems to be a solo singer and songwriter, oh the luck! Downloaded Modern Genius and a sample track from her site and I was stunned. I really love female vocals singers like:" Alicia Keys, Vanessa Carlton, Dido, Enya, Michelle Branch, Lisa Gerrard and some others I can't think of right now. Damn I definately gotta get her album!

Galvanise
@ 1/31/2005 10:25:00 AM

Daamn that new Chemical Brothers track Galvanise really ownz, I love it!! On further note, I've been watching Collateral and Man on fire yesterday. I expected more from Collateral, but it wasn't a bad movie, just tad unbelievable at some points. Man on fire on the other hand f00kin rawked! I don't really like movies from Denzel but damn, this was such a awesome movie, the camera effects, the story, the cast everything was good. Definatelly a movie you have to see.

Nico's bday party!!
Sunday, January 30, 2005 @ 1/30/2005 05:26:00 PM

So last nite was a good opportunity to use my cam again. Went to Nico's bday party. But from the 70 pics I've taken, these 20 came out least crappiest! I need to learn how to shoot some pics cus this is terrible!! Party was fun, till they decided to play cherades, or whatever it's called in English. The point is, you have to pick 1 folded up note out of a bowl with 20 folded up notes. On that note there is a name of a famous person and you have to pretend to be that person and your teammate needs to guess who it is. I lost off course.....Anyways time for the pics!! BTW, I'm Fais is working on a gallery for me so I can organize it nicely in there instead of making a table on this page everytime....Warning some images may be SHOCKING. Update! Sooo the gallery is fixed. It looks like shit, but im gonna change the template when I have some time. Thnx to Faisal make sure ya visit his site, so he has some visitors at last.

Movies, movies, movies
Saturday, January 29, 2005 @ 1/29/2005 06:21:00 PM

I've been watching alot of movies lately. Amongst them movies are the 10 episodes from Band of Brothers. I know the series is already a bit old, but I hadn't seen all episodes yet, and seeing it now, 1 after another until the end, daaamn that series really ownz. The storyline, the effects, the drama, the friendship, the bonding between the soldiers, it's a masterpiece. If you liked Saving Private Ryan then you will LOVE this. Let's continue with the asian movies. Cus tbh I love asian movies, and that's all I've been watching the past few days. Let's start off with Full Time Killer. The movie was okay, but had unbelievable moments in it. The movie's about 2 killers, 1 wants to get his jobs done right and the other wants to be the best killer, so in the end they get in each others way and try to kill each other. Good movie if you like action and shootouts. Enter the Phoenix is a hilarious movie. When a bigtime ganglord dies, his final wish is that his son he never loved, would take over his business. The problem is...his son is gay. So his friend joins him and acts as if he's the son and takes over the gang with all kind of problems that follow. Made me laugh at some moments! Too beautiful too lie is very funny movie. Koreans really know how to make comedies or maybe it's the way they act that makes it so damn funny. Ju Young-ju, an beautiful ex-con artist who has been recently released on parole, is planning to attend her sister’s wedding. On her way she crosses path with Choi Hee-chul, a shy and unsure young man who is on his way to see his girl friend in Seoul. By a small series of unexpected events, the precious ring that Hee-chul planned to give to his girl friend end up in Young-ju possession, which at the same time, loose her bag. With only information she had chance to gather on Choi Hee-chul, she decides to find him, give him back the ring and take back her bag. However, at the moment of giving back the ring, her old lying habit comes back and the fun begins. And last but not least, well actually I haven't even finished watching this movie cus it was sooo bad is Twins Effect 2. The first movie was okay, the story was okay, the effects where nicely done and the humor was desirebale. But this movie sucked bigtime, the only thing I really really liked was Gillian Chung. I dig asian women, and she's damn fine! But the movie just sucked ass! It wasn't funny, it wasn't cool, the fight sequences where too fake, and the special fx where just bad!! Well thats about if for the movies..Ill be back for more sooner or later!

blogging problems
@ 1/29/2005 01:36:00 PM

@ 1/28/2005 10:40:00 AM

A friend of mine came to visit me last nite and decided to cook for me, hell I don't say no to that. And boy can she cook. She made a italian sauce with minced beef (<-- dunno if thats the right translation), mushrooms etc. I tell ya I definately needs to find me a woman that can cook..oh and do the dishes off course! Btw don't pay attention to quality of the pics. I really have to practice using the camera more, as you can see, the flash sucks! I made more pics, but the rest came out all blurry bah.

I would love to go since most of my favourite dj's will be spinning and the party will go on for at least 17 hours, afterhours not included. Daaamn can you believe that, I don't think I've ever partied any longer then 10 hours or something. That was on Dancevalley to be exact. Anyways im off to take some pictures...

ISP rant!!
Tuesday, January 25, 2005 @ 1/25/2005 09:46:00 AM

Received a mail from my ISP this morning, this is what was in the mail: Dear yadayadayada we hereby want to inform you ..yadayadayada....that you are downloading too much, and we only allow 8 gigs a month. You are currently...yadyadayada.....3 times the maximum. If you do not sease the downloading immediately, you will be cut down, to a bandwidth not larger then a telephone line. Like whatthefuck!!! 8 gigs a month limit????? F00k that tbh, I pay 50 euros (lot of money for my kind of student) for it, and I picked the connection with NO DOWNLOAD LIMIT. Oh well first finish...

What ..oh ...what...
Monday, January 24, 2005 @ 1/24/2005 04:01:00 PM

...shall I buy? I've recently received some money back cus I payed too much with my bills, so I have a few options for things I could buy. First of all I need a photocam, and not a expensive one cus I'm not gonna shoot professional pics, but this one looked interesting! Also I deffo need a new bike. And I also want this. Plus I want to go to miami to party @ the frisky radio party, plus thers tons of more stuff I need for my crib....sigh oh well, maybe I should throw a dice and decide what to buy then.

Arahan (2004)
@ 1/22/2005 01:07:00 AM

Just finished watching this movie. I really love asian movies, and this korean movie Arahan is yet another one I'm adding to my favo asian movieslist! The movie combines martial arts and special fx with comedy. If ya enjoyed Volcano High then ya will love this movie. Arahan tells the story of the world of Tao, which exists alongside the normal modern world that everyone else seems to be stuck in. In the world of Tao, there are seven legendary Tao masters, who protect mankind against forces off evil or something like that! One day a dorky police officer comes in contact with them, and they find out he has a true chi power. They take him to train with them to learn to control his powers and finally whoops some ass. trailer (wmp)

Before...
Thursday, January 20, 2005 @ 1/20/2005 02:09:00 PM

Before I lost everything I was working on a new banner for this website and a design for a birthcard for my niece. The banner was almost finished as you can see... luckily I made a screenshot, so I'm gonna restart on the banner. Also I was modelling a pacifier for the birthcard, wanted to put some drool on it, then make it black and white for the card, but the idea was more for a condoleancecard imo, so I had to let it go.

Tuesday, January 18, 2005 @ 1/18/2005 10:36:00 PM

Ive picked up my extra stick of ram + a new hd and a new case today, installed everything and something went wrong with the pc. So I lost alllllllll my data, 70 gigs of designs. psd files, 3d models i've been working on for a while, internship reports, logos, websites, movies I was working on, everything just poof gone!! So I'm feeling pretty angry now as you can imagine.

But the ram is working fine now, tho I still need to update my bios cus my HD's work like shit. Plus I was checking my site in IE and noticed it gives a error, gotta fix that as soon as everything is installed properly.

Saturday, January 15, 2005 @ 1/15/2005 01:45:00 PM

I fucking hate dentists. Altho the women who is my dentist is a really nice person I just dislike going there. But last monday I had an appointment for a check up. I was nervous, cus I wanted my teeth to be fine, so I wouldn't have to come back for a long long while. After waiting a half hour it was my turn, so I lay down in the chair and she started checking my teeth. I got more nervous, cus she was hmmm hmmm'ing the entire time. Time was going really slow that moment and considering the bad history with my teeth, I was really afraid she would say, ok im gonna have to make a few pictures cus we gotta dril. Then she took the lil mirror out of my mouth and said: "OK!". "OK?? WHAT OK???" She smiled and said, your teeth are fine. I was fucking relieved. I could finally leave the dentist with a big smile and no worries. But then last nite, as I was eating, my fucking molar broke. fuckshitfuckshitfuckshitfuckshitfuckshitfuckingshitterdefuckingfuck! Now I have to go back again ffs! And it's weekend so I have to wait at least 2 days.

Ki-Aikido
Thursday, January 13, 2005 @ 1/13/2005 10:57:00 AM

Went to a practice lesson of Ki-Aikido last nite. We learnt how Ki worked and I was allowed to throw my m8 Ken on the floor a couple of times, which was fun off course. But even tho how cool the lesson was, I still don't think its my kinda shit! I'm more anxious to learn Wu-Shu or MA-Trickz. The problem is, that the number of schools where Wu-Shu is being thought is very limited in Holland.

Aaargh
Tuesday, January 11, 2005 @ 1/11/2005 11:52:00 AM

Cmon ffs. I'm really really really really happy with my I-pod, I almost take it anywhere with me! There's just one thing I hate about it, and that is the I-tunes music uploader. See you need to import music into your itunes library and itunes will then update it to your mini I-pod. But if you lose your library lists after a format, your library will be empty. so what will it upload? Nothing. So the moment you attach your poddie to your pc it thinks "Hey the library is empty, but hey the I-pod is full with music. Why don't I delete everything just like in the library!" Thank fuck all for who invented that. Now I have to reorganize my library again...sigh. Glad I don't have the 20 gig Ipod tho.

Clean up after you leave!
Friday, January 07, 2005 @ 1/07/2005 07:01:00 PM

Twas alot of work today at my part-time cleaning job. I work at this huge 5 floor highschool, along with 30 others, and as I came to my floor, my eyes opened up bigtime cus fucken plaster was everywhere. The whole floor was covered with pieces of plaster, isolation wool and other rubble. I was looking at a big hole in the wall with at least a diameter of 40inch, and I was like WTF!! I looked trough the hole and I could see the classroom on the otherside. I grabbed the keys and opened up the door. The mess was even bigger inside the classroom. The class was a computerroom for students and at least 19 '19inch TFT monitors' where missing. As I looked trough the classroom, I noticed another hole just across the first one. "Fuck not another one!" and I opened up the door of the adjacent classroom. Another 19 monitors where gone. Off all the damn floors with puters they had to pick mine. So I was stuck with 2 emptied out classrooms + a pile of rubble for me to clean up sigh! Even tho it happend at least 5 times before, not on this large scale tho, the school immediately bought 19 new TFT monitors instead of a super duper alarmsystem. DOH! oh well, hope the burglars clean up after they leave next time!

Trustworthy!
@ 1/06/2005 04:17:00 PM

Okay the tsunami killed around 200000 peeps in Asia! Okay we send help and money, that's all good, but no offense im getting mixed feelings about all the stuff people are doing to send money. Today some weird fucking medium (guy who can talk with dead people) said he talked to elvis, and elvis told everyone to donate for ASIA.....riight. And all of a sudden all kind of new sites pop up with requests for donations! Hmmmz I wonder if they are trustworthy and not some filthy sons of bitches that are trying to get money out of it! Cus trust me, people would do that. Thats the fucked up world we live in!

Kung Fu Hustle
Wednesday, January 05, 2005 @ 1/05/2005 11:48:00 AM

Oh btw you can make that 11. Add Kung Fu Hustle to that list, cus I just found a trailer to this new movie with Stephen Chow (famous from 'Shaolin Soccer'). Also I seem to recognize 2 other fellow actors from Shaolin Soccer in the trailer. BTW if you haven't seen that one yet, damn.... then you're missing out one hell of a movie.

Aikido
@ 1/05/2005 07:47:00 AM

Got a unexpected visit from Ken yesterday. As we started talking, he told me he wanted to do more with sports this year. I was thinking the same, but I thought he meant fitness. Seems he wanted to go and teach Aikido. The essence of all Aikido technique is the use of total body movements to create spherical motion around a stable, energized center. Even when a technique appears to be using only one part of the body, close observation reveals the Aikidoist's movements are, in fact, total body movements. Properly executed, some techniques are spectacular; sending an opponent flying thorough the air. Others are small, deft movements that immobilize the aggressor. Both results are achieved through precise use of leverage, inertia, gravity, and the action of centrifugal and centripetal forces. Ultimately, it is the energy of the attack itself which brings down the attacker. Sounds cool huh? Well shortened meaning. In Aikido you actually use the enemy's own power to beat him. Im really curious what this will be. So next wednesday we are having a free try-out lesson. w00t im gonna kick ken's ass!

the origin of the Papigiulio!
Monday, January 03, 2005 @ 1/03/2005 01:04:00 PM

Alot of people ask me how I came up with such a ridiculous, silly and strange nick! Since I'm too lazy to tell the story individually, I will tell the story in this post. This is the story of the origin of the Papigiulio. On a hot and sunny day in June I believe it was, I was chilling at a mates house with some friends. We where all bored to dead that day, which is a common thing when us 3 get together. I was lieing (<-- is that right?) on the couch taking a zip of my cold beer and watching the telly, yes I can do 3 things at a time... as my mates, let's call them Nico and Frank, sat at a table, where talking about motors.... again. I grabbed the remote and started zapping to see if there was anything remotely interesting on the telly. Just my luck, only soaps and more soaps, so I decided to switch to MTV. At that moment there was some cheap-ass videoclip on it and the song was even worse. But I didn't zap away nor could I as the buttons of the remote didn't work anymore. But as I was screwing around with the remote, I slightly heard my name in the background. Giulio.....papi....giulio. I got the remote back to work and turned the volume up a bit. As I listened closer I heard that it wasn't my name but 'Papi chulo' instead. Tho everytime I heard that line it resembled my name. All of a sudden one of my mates started to sing along and when he got to that line he looked at me with a big smile and said Giulio..tata Papigiulio. I couldn't help laughing but since then I kinda thought hey cool, why not use it as a nick. So that's when the Papigiulio was born. You can download or listen to the song here.

Saturday, January 01, 2005 @ 1/01/2005 05:10:00 PM

there are some crazy people out there who love to play with fireworks, and off course everything needs to be big, bigger, biggest , huge etc. Check out these dutch kids and their fireworks. Well the bigger the better imo, and if it comes to fireworks, who makes the craziest and dopest fireworks?? That's right! The Japanese. Check that shit out!. Heres some screens of the amazing fireworks!

The last picture is btw the firework from the movie, and the blast radius of that bomb is around the 800 meters or so I heard!
