I don't know how long this has been out, but I just found out today, and I really needed it cus my spamfilters work like goatcheese. I also know theres GMAIL, but hey a 250 mb mailbox extra is always handy, especially when you use that adress for MSN aswell. This is what you gotta do to get it.

Step 1. Open your hotmail inbox, and go to [options] --> then click on [personal] --> and then change your [My profile] settings.

Step 2. Change your [country/region] into United States and state into Florida. Where it says [zipcode] fillout 33332 After you have done that click on [update]

Step 2.28643 Warning!!! Before you go any further, there is a suggestion... to create a new folder in your current mail-account and put all kind of important emails in there. To make sure they wont get deleted. On the other hand, I never did this and my emailbox didn't get cleaned out. BUT you never know, dont blame me when it happens.

Step 3. When that is done, click on this link http://memberservices.passp......lc%2043 and click on I want to change something [Close my .NET Passport account]

Step 4. After that click on [contact hotmai] and fill out your password and click on [Close account]

Step 5. Now close the explorer window and open a new one. Go to www.hotmail.com and login again. Your account will now be automatically be reactivated with a inbox of 25 megs. 25 megs you think?? Yes 25 megs ya cheapskate, if you be patient after a few days it will turn into 250 megs. Enjoy!
